If you live in the Mid Suffolk area and would like to have a go at walking football then Stowmarket Walking Football club, supported by Sport England and the ‘This Girl Can’ campaign, will be holding a free trial session for women only on Sunday 25th June, 4-5pm at Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre on their astroturf pitch.
To celebrate and commemorate 100 years of the greatest ladies football team of all time, a group of volunteers have got together to honour the hundreds of women who played for Dick, Kerr Ladies. The Inaugural National Women’s Walking Football Tournament will take place on Sunday 2nd July, hosted by the University of Central Lancashire
