Match report by Paul Moffat Odsal Sedbergh Sirens: Odsal Sirens 1st game of the winter season against Liverpool University women. From the off Odsal wanted this game and their determination showed with a couple of drives and a storming run by Nichola Williams down field to bring Odsal within easy reach of the opposition try line.
The first week of the Winter League kicked off today with home wins everywhere except Hull where West Leeds beat their hosts in a low scoring match. Following their AGM WRLA have announced that the longest running women’s rugby league competition in the world will continue with its 2016/17 season.
