Shona Powell-Hughes picks up Valkyries Player of the Month award

Worcester Valkyries forward Shona Powell-Hughes has picked up December’s Worcestershire County Council Player of the Month award. The Welsh international thoroughly impressed in her two Women’s Premiership appearances against Bristol Ladies Rugby and Saracens Women last month, and has since been called up to the Wales squad for this Sunday’s game against Ireland in Dublin.
