Dee Bradley Signs New Durham Women Contract

  • +1

Durham Women have confirmws that Dee Bradley has signed a new contract with the club.

The American joined the club in January 2020 and has since established herself as a key member of the first-team squad. Comfortable playing in defence or midfield, it is the latter where Bradley has really made her mark this season with a number of committed displays.

The 25-year-old, who previously played at Old Dominion University, has scored twice this term – netting valuable goals against Manchester United and London City Lionesses. And now, Bradley will look to continue her progress with the Wildcats for the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign and beyond.

Speaking after putting pen to paper, she said: “This feels pretty amazing.

“It’s something I’ve been working for and it feels like all the hard work is paying-off.

“But I do know that the hard work now restarts and I know I have to keep proving myself and helping the team.

“I can’t speak any higher of the girls and I’m super lucky to be at this club.”

Lee Sanders added: “Prior to joining the club, Dee worked hard to get over some injuries she sustained in America before coming to Durham.

“She initially joined on our popular scholarship programme with Durham University and has since worked extremely hard and earned the opportunity to compete for a place in the starting line-up.

“She’s done that and we’re delighted that she’s going to remain with ourselves on a longer-term contract.”
