One of Manchester’s leading businesses is joining the Manchester Thunder family for the 2017 Superleague season.

Whitefield-based security firm Max6mum Security will be one of the team’s key partners for the new campaign providing financial and a range of other support to the Black and Yellows.

The company, which provides high quality home security solutions, will have its logo on the team dress, receive VIP tickets to home matches to be offered to staff and customers and run special offers and promotions for Thunder fans.

The firm’s range includes door chains, locks, viewers, knockers and window security devices and all products are endorsed by former Coronation Street star Sean Wilson.

Max6Mum Security’s mascot, Max, will also join Thunder’s own mascot, Thunder Bear, at some of the home games during the season.

David Jennings, Max6Mum Security’s managing director, said: “Max6mum Security is all about quality, which is why it is a massive honour to be backing such a superior team. The Manchester Thunder team is competitive, hardworking and on top of their game – qualities we, as a company, admire.

“It’s important for us to support local teams, and we are positive that this partnership will help us boost the profile of our brand and also help us showcase our effective and affordable products across the county.

“Max6mum Security is growing! And we couldn’t be happier with this new sponsorship!”

Debbie Hallas, Manchester Thunder managing director, added: “We are delighted to have Max6Mum Security on board to help build the profile of the franchise to our growing fanbase across Manchester and the North West.

“With the expansion of Superleague for 2017, this is an exciting time for netball and we look forward to working with the team at Max6Mum to showcase their products to our supporters.”
