Jets aiming for first win this season

  • +1

Yorkshire Jets will be aiming to get their first win of the Vitality Netball Superleague season on Monday when they welcome Celtic Dragons to Leeds.

The Welsh side are also without a win from their opening five games and will travel to Yorkshire also hoping to end their run of defeats.

Anna Carter’s side have been improving in recent games but errors and missed opportunities have prevented them from securing a victory. During the past week they have been working on ensuring they make the most of those opportunities and are consistent for the full 60 minutes of the game.

The sell-out crowd at Leeds Beckett University’s Sports Arena will be joined by two stars from Leeds Rhinos, Mitch Garbutt and Beau Falloon, plus trophies from the side’s treble-winning season. While the warm-up, from 5.30pm, will be a showcase of young talented Yorkshire netballers who are part of Jets’ Athlete Development Programme.

Centre pass on Monday is 7.45pm.
