After several weather delays John Davenport was finally able to hold the first trials for the Lancashire squad to play Yorkshire in the County of Origin match last Wednesday evening. Yesterday (Sunday 17 January) John held a second trial, this time at Liverpool’s University 3G complex. He then drove over to Yorkshire to watch some of the girls who couldn’t get to the trial because they were playing in the Challenge Cup match Lindley v Huddersfield – nobody said being a coach is easy! So, we are finally have the names of the 20 player squad plus injury reserves.
