At this year’s FA Women’s Football Awards Sunderland dominated the WSL1 whilst Donny Belles, dominated WSL2 awards with each team scooping the team of the year award and player of the year with Courtney Sweetman-Kirk taking it for Belles and Beth Mead for Sunderland.
Not surprisingly both players also won the top goalscorers awards. Icing of the cake for Beth Mead was the award of England Young Player of the Year, making it a hat-trick for her on the night.
Lucy Bronze won the England Player of the Year and Emma Hayes took WSL Manager of the Year.
