The second of the group matches took place today with England needing a win after losing in the dying moments of their match against Germany. The Lionesses started well and opened the scoring via Natasha Flint but unable to hold onto their lead they slipped to a 3-1 defeat to Spain. With Germany losing 2-0 to Norway, England need a convincing win over Norway and for Germany to lose to Spain for any chance of progressing.
