England and GB hockey goalkeeper Maddie Hinch has been named as the Sky Sportswoman of the Month for June.
Hinch was named ahead of jockey Samantha Bell and cyclist Hannah Barnes in the public vote.
The 26-year-old made several important saves in June’s Hockey World League semi-finals in Valencia as Team GB won all of their seven matches in Valencia with Hinch keeping six clean sheets in the tournament. Team GB won the gold medal and booked their place at the Olympic Games in 2016.
