Head coach LJ Lewis has called in Seren Coombs, Freya Greensmith and Milly Pearce to her England U21 Women’s training squad at Loughborough University this week.
The four-day camp at the Elite Athlete Centre commences this Thursday in preparation for the upcoming Six Nations this spring.
Coombs, Greensmith and Pearce all boast previous U18 caps for England, with Coombs representing her country in last year’s U18 Six Nations Festival at Wellington College. Scrum-half Pearce was a late call-up to last week’s camp at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
England U21 Women return to camp on Friday 27th February in Bristol. Fixtures for England U21 Women, including warm-up matches and the Six Nations schedule, will be announced in due course.
LJ Lewis said: “Over this recent block we’ve seen real progression across our team, particularly how players are taking responsibility for their development and pushing the high standards we want in the pathway.
“We’re delighted to welcome Seren, Freya and Millie into the group. They’ve earned this opportunity and will add fresh energy and competition as they begin their journey with us.”
