The winners of the Barclays Women’s Super League 2 awards for October have now been confirmed.

Hutton netted twice in a 2-0 win over Sunderland, before finding the back of the net again in a 1-1 draw against Sheffield United courtesy of a free-kick that was additionally in the running for the monthly goal award.

Durham’s Catriona Sheppard, Southampton’s Jess Simpson and Newcastle United’s Morgan Gautrat were also shortlisted.

Bristol City captain Vicky Losada meanwhile emerged victorious in the Goal of the Month voting polls courtesy of her effort against Durham.

Newcastle United’s Lois Joel (v Bristol City), Portsmouth’s Georgie Freeland (v Southampton), Nottingham Forest’s Hollie Olding and Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah (both v Portsmouth) and the aforementioned Jodie Hutton strike against Sheffield United were also in contention, but Losada’s effort came out on top.
