Harlequins Head Coach Amy Turner has named her side to face Leicester Tigers at The Stoop on Saturday, as Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby resumes for the final four rounds of the season.
Saturday’s game doubles up as the Club’s annual Access Day, providing a steppingstone for disabled people to attend live sporting events and delivers a range of important initiatives to support and educate visitors of The Stoop.
The all-international front-row of Italy’s Silvia Turani, England’s Connie Powell and Springbok Women’s Babalwa Latsha line-up for the first time for Quins following the completion of the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
Abbie Fleming and Danelle Lochner partner up in the second-row, with Emily Robinson and centurion Shaunagh Brown on the flanks. Jade Konkel completes a powerful forward pack, making her return from injury in the PWR, captaining the side from number eight.
England scrum-half Lucy Packer starts at nine with U20s fly-half Ella Cromack outside her wearing 10. Lagi Tuima and Izzy Mayhew partner up in the centres again, with Amy Layzell on one wing and vice-captain Emily Scott at fullback.
Welsh international Lisa Neumann is set to make her debut in the Quarters as she starts on the left wing having signed for the Club earlier this year.
Turner opts for a 6-2 split on the bench, with experience in the form of Carys Phillips, Aseza Hele and Amelia Harper providing power in the latter stages of the match.
