Harlequins Women Head Coach Gerard Mullen has made just one change to the starting XV that will take on Sale Sharks at The Stoop on Sunday afternoon in Round 14 of the Allianz Premier 15s.
After missing the last few weeks with injury, lock Fi Fletcher returns to the side, set to make her 80thappearance for the Club.
The backline remains unchanged following last weekend’s comprehensive 42-15 victory over Worcester Warriors with the young Freya Aucken once again wearing the 15 jersey with Heather Cowell and Izzy Mayhew starting on the wing. Captain Rachael Burford and Lagi Tuima fill the centre positions, whilst Lucy Packer and Ellie Green start at nine and ten respectively.
New signing Georgia Bradley is set to make her Harlequins debut in the number 20 jersey, following her move from fellow Allianz Premier 15s side Loughborough Lightning earlier on this week.
Ahead of the clash, Mullen said: “Again, similarly to last week, we know we will have to be at our best to get a good result against Sale Sharks on Sunday. They’ll be raring to go and will come at us all guns blazing so we’ll have to be ready from the first minute. We’ve prepared well and are looking forward to playing our entertaining brand of rugby in front of our fans at The Stoop.”
