The Bears are Back in Town and Wasps are ready

  • +1

After a successful trip north to shark territory and a weeks break, Wasps are back at the hive this weekend and ready to take on a much furrier predator, Bristol Bears.

In round 13 Wasps’ stung hard in a 46-0 victory over DMP Durham Sharks, racking up seven tires in the first half and denying Sharks of any points throughout. With the full five points in the bag and a productive two weeks back at the hive- Wasps move into this weeks raring and ready for a Bear Hunt.

Giselle Mather has named five changes to the starting line up. Four personnel changes including the return of Ellie Boatman and Christiana Balogun to the match day squad and one positional.

In the front row Bryony Cleall comes off the bench to start alongside Cliodhna Moloney and Maud Muir. Balogun returns from injury to start at six opposite Claire Molloy leading as Captain from Seven.

Meg Jones returns to her commanding role at ten alongside Sammy Wong at nine. And to complete the changes, Boatman joins the back three which includes Rosie Wright on her opposite wing and Abby Dow acting as Vice Captain at fullback.

Heather Kerr and Helene Caux are amongst the finishers for the forwards with the likes of Flo Williams and Lucy Nye ready to fuel the backs.

Tickets are available online via the link below and if you can’t make it down to Twyford Avenue then you can join the bear hunt from 1:15pm on the Premier 15s Livestream.
