Fifteen French female referees met at Marcoussis recently to prepare themselves for the coming season. Fitness, both physical and mental, were on the menu.
Their aim is to reach the standard being set by the current No 1 French referee, Aurélie Groizeleau, and increase the number of highly qualified female referees at the FFR’s disposal. Their ultimate target is selection at international level.
The course was led by Salem Attalah, head of the national referees association, and by Marie Lematte, in charge of female referees.
