On Sunday in the North West County Cup Final Wigan St Patricks Ladies faced Thatto Heath St Helens Reserves. It was a very close and enthralling game that ended with Wigan grabbing the spoils 8-4.
Castleford Tigers Ladies
All of the tries were scored in the second half, Wigan’s were scored by Becky Greenfield and Jess Hopkins and Thatto’s try was scored by Charlotte Hill. A superb final with both sides battling right to the final whistle.
In the Yorkshire County Cup Final Oulton Raidettes hosted Castleford Tigers Ladies and in a hard fought match Castleford Tigers impressed to win 32-20.
Castleford’s tries were scored by: Kelly Beckett, Jasmine Cudjoe, Katie Hepworth, Shannelle Mannion (2) and Emma Lumley. Katie Hepworth also kicked 4 goals.
