Women’s Weekly Round up 21st May
On Sunday Stanningley hosted Castleford and it was the travelling side who earned an impressive 52-4 win.
Castleford’s Emma Lumley, Meganne Summers and Katie Hepworth all scored two tries each, whilst Shanelle Mannion, Lucy Eastwood and Emma Ryan all scored one each. Katie Hepworth added to her points tally with 8 goals.
Thatto Heath St Helens hosted Wigan St Patricks Ladies and the home side emerged with a 32-8 win.
Thatto’s Tara Stanley, Chantelle Crowley, Rachel Thompson, Tara Jones, Charlotte Hill and Katie Williams all scored one try each with Tara Stanley adding four goals.
Wigan’s Kerri Ann Smith and Chloe Myers both crossed the whitewash.
The final game of the weekend saw Batley Bulldogs host Featherstone Rovers and the travelling side dominated throughout to earn a 56-0 win.
Kayleigh Bulman scored a hat-rick of tries and Brogan Churm and Andrea Dobson both scored two each. Sinead Peach, Hannah Bairstow and Katie Lyons all scored one each, Andrea Dobson added further to her tally with 8 goals.
