With bad weather once again taking its toll of fixtures only one Winter League match took place. In the Preliminary Round of the Challenge Cup Lindley Swift beat Huddersfield 32-6. Lindley will join Oulton, East Leeds and Thornhill in the next round (you can see results here) while Huddersfield go into the Plate competition alongside Odsal, Liverpool and Hunslet.
