In what is terrible news for both club and player, Millwall Lionesses have announced that unfortunately defender Jordon Butler will be out for the rest of the season and for the foreseeable future, after suffering a potentially career ending injury against Watford earlier in the month.
During the 4-2 win against Watford, at the beginning of August, Butler went down trying to intercept a pass from a Watford forward.
After many tests and treatment from both the physio Jonjo Hurley and club doctors at Millwall early prognosis wasn’t good. An MRI scan has now confirmed the worst, that Jordon has significant damage to her ACL, PCL and meniscus cartilage.
Millwall have said that as soon as they have more information they will let us know how Jordon is doing, in the meantime we join Millwall in wishing Jordon the very best for a complete recovery and that we are all thinking of her at the moment.
