Harlequins have announced that Welsh international Lisa Neumann has signed for the Club with immediate effect.

The winger joins Harlequins from league champions Gloucester-Hartpury, where she crossed for a try in the 34-19 win over Exeter Chiefs Women in the Premiership Final last season.

Prior to joining the Cherry and Whites in 2022, Neumann spent two seasons with Sale Sharks, amassing 45 points and finishing as the top try-scorer in her final season.

Neumann made her International debut against Scotland in the 2018 Six Nations and was one of the first 12 players in Wales to be awarded a professional contract. She has since achieved 39 caps for Wales and was named in the Six Nations Team of the Tournament in 2021.

Harlequins Head Coach Amy Turner said: “Lisa brings a fantastic level of athleticism to our squad and is an exciting addition to our backs group. She’s an experienced player at both club and international level and will bolster our back three with her carrying power and pace.”

Commenting on her signing, Lisa Neumann said: “I’m really excited for a change and a new opportunity at Quins. I’m looking forward to getting started with the team and playing my rugby closer to home.”
