Potential debutant Sam Taylor will join the Black Ferns squad for the upcoming Pacific Four Series as injury replacement for veteran lock Chelsea Bremner.
Bremner has been ruled out of the campaign with a knee injury that was sustained during the last Tuesday training of March camp in Wellington.
Taylor will meet and travel with the remaining group to the USA on Friday, April 3 NZT.

Sam Taylor is an emerging forward within the Black Ferns environment, known for high work rate and ball carrying skills. Taylor’s earned recognition for her consistent performances with the Manawatū Cyclones in the Farah Palmer Cup and Hurricanes Poua in Super Rugby Aupiki. In 2023, she was named in the inaugural Black Ferns XV squad under Whitney Hansen, and again with the Black Ferns XV touring squad to South Africa last year.
