Head coach James Cooper has confirmed his England U18 Women’s squad for this weekend’s development camp hosted at Loughborough University.
Starting this Friday, the four-day camp is the opening meeting of the season for the U18 Women’s side following on from October’s Women’s Pathway positional camps held at Bisham Abbey.
Charlotte Brookes, Izzy Firth, Holly Jackson, Honey Kerslake and Lily Pereira dos Santos are the previously capped players will partake in Cooper and assistant coach Oli Perry’s opening meeting of the 2025/26 campaign.
All nine RFU PDG sites are represented in the 67-player squad makeup for this weekend’s meeting. 23 of the named players were also involved in the Women’s Pathway positional camps, where they received detailed mentoring from Red Roses coaches.
England U18 Women return for their next camp at Loughborough University on Friday 12th December. Further information on future England U18 Women’s fixtures, including the 2026 U18 Six Nations Festival, will be communicated in due course.
James Cooper said: “As we open up our programme for another exciting campaign, congratulations must go to all selected players, as well as their colleges and PDG sites, after a busy opening to the year. By delaying our first camp it has given us the opportunity to watch four rounds of college games as well as PDG selection and two training days.
“Following on from an exciting few months for women’s rugby worldwide, we want to build on the legacy of the Red Roses’ success and continue to grow players that represent the rose with pride.”
Oli Perry said: “This weekend’s camp gives us the opportunity to work with the players in their positional groups and serves to align players into our playing framework of prioritising speed, space and athleticism to ensure we create as many winning moments as possible.”
