Thunder women chalked-up their sixth win from eleven matches played-to-date, now with realistic hopes to finish the group stage as ‘one of the top-three to qualify for the semi-finals. Hawks’ century batting partnership between Freya Kemp [63(from 43 balls)] and Abi Norgrove 54(from 35 balls) ensured Hawks closed with a decent defendable score of 174. Carrying three wickets advantage for most of the match, Emma Lamb [66*not out(from 45 balls)] made top-score from two key batting partnerships and carried her bat.
