England U20 Women’s head coach LJ Lewis has confirmed her squad for this week’s three-day training camp at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre.
Following on from last week’s meeting at Loughborough University, 36 players travel to Berkshire in preparation for the Six Nations Women’s Summer Series in Wales this July.
Bristol Bears wing Millie David returns to action for her country following on from a breakthrough season, finishing top try-scorer in Premiership Women’s Rugby.
Uncapped forwards Lucie Sams (Sale Sharks) and Eryn Sinckler (Hartpury University) are welcomed into Lewis’ setup alongside U18 scrum-half Ashton Adcock for her second week of exposure at U20 level, having been a late call-up into training at nearby Loughborough.
England’s Summer Series fixtures have since been announced by Six Nations, opening against Scotland, then taking on Italy before concluding their campaign against France at CCB Centre for Sporting Excellence at Ystrad Mynach.
England U20 Women return to Bisham Abbey on Monday 9 June for a four-day camp before an opposed training session vs. Wales at Hensol Park on 21st June.
“We’re excited to be back in camp this week as we look to build momentum into our summer block,” LJ Lewis said.
“It’s great to bolster our squad with Millie, Lucie and Ashton joining the team. Each player has been incredibly impressive this year and worked diligently to earn their place in this training squad.”
