Gloucestershire women vs Glamorgan women – match 13, L2 – at  Seat Unique Stadium Bristol on Saturday 3 May 2025

Glamorgan women bagged their second win, under their skipper Lauren Parfitt who’d returned from injury. Two batters dominated the match: Daisy Jeans who scored ‘fifty’ (for Glamorgan women) partnered by Beth Gammon (Wales) banking 87 runs for Glamorgan’s third wicket. Beth Gammon scored the competition’s third highest ’ton’ (to date)  [129*not out (from 101 balls)] Her top-score included fifteen ‘fours’ and two ’sixes.’ Unable to stop Glamorgan women from chalking-up over 300 runs, Gloucester women used nine bowlers, the best of whom was Izzy Patel who took a 4-fer (taking 4 wickets/conceding 39 runs.) Only three Gloucester women batters replied with double-figures. Two ‘ducks’ contributed to a nightmare innings during which all five Glamorgan bowlers took wickets. Commentators were Toby Reynolds (Cricket writer at Sports Gazette) with guest, believed to be cricket writer Dan Whiting (@Themiddlestump.) Weather was cool with cloud cover 13C.
