The winners of the Barclays Women’s Super League awards for February have now been confirmed.
Decided by a combination of the public and a panel of experts, the results of February’s votes are as follows.

Firstly, Arsenal’s Mariona Caldentey has been named as Player of the Month after an impressive February for the Gunners.
The Spaniard was a driving force behind Arsenal’s two victories this month – scoring and assisting in their 4-3 win over Manchester City, before finding the net once again in a 5-0 derby victory over Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium before the international break.
The forward saw off competition from Mary Fowler, Kelly Gago, Toni Payne, Elisabeth Terland and teammate Frida Maanum to take the award.
It was a double-award winning month for the Gunners meanwhile, with Renée Slegers being named as Manager of the Month for the second time this season.

Manchester United boss Marc Skinner and Chelsea’s Sonia Bompastor were also in contention, but Slegers picked up the award once again, having previously emerged victorious in the same category in December whilst in interim charge of the team.
Finally, Janice Cayman’s strike against Aston Villa has been voted as Goal of the Month, with the Belgian’s effort for Leicester City last month coming out on top in the voting polls.
Notching a brace in the Foxes’ 3-0 win at the King Power Stadium, Cayman’s second goal of the game was voted as February’s winning strike, defeating Honoka Hayashi, Elisabeth Terland, Emily Fox, Kelly Gago, Lauren James, Khadija Shaw and Gracie Prior to the accolade.
