Harlequins Women have announced that Kayleigh Powell has renewed her contract with the club, ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Welsh international arrived in TW2 having represented Team GB 7s in the Paris Olympics and has since made 12 appearances in the Quarters, making the fly-half jersey her own and scoring three tries.
Powell scored her first try for the club in Big Game 16 at Allianz Stadium and has become a crucial cog in a Quins side that have secured a place in the play-offs in two weeks’ time.
Head Coach Ross Chisholm is thrilled that Powell has extended her stay at the club, highlighting how the Welsh woman has excelled during her first season in TW2.
“Kayleigh has a lot of attacking flair, which really suits the way we want to play as a side. Her game control and management have been brilliant. She is a real running threat at the line and her ball distribution has also been outstanding. She is one of those players who is great at bringing others into the game and we’re really pleased she is staying with us here at Quins.”
