Harlequins Head Coach Ross Chisholm has named his side to face Trailfinders Women at The Stoop on Saturday, making three changes to the side who toppled Saracens last Sunday. The side is bolstered by the return of newly crowned World Player of the Year, Ellie Kildunne.
The front-row remains unchanged, with Silvia Turani at tighthead and Connie Powell at hooker, with last week’s scorer Lizzie Hanlon returning at loosehead.
Kaitlan Leaney and Abbie Fleming make it three games in a row as a starting combination in the second-row, following strong performances last time out in tricky conditions.
It’s a familiar back-row of Nicole Wythe, Alex Callender and Jade Konkel, with Konkel captaining the side from number eight.
Freya Aucken returns to the Starting XV at scrum-half in the absence of Lucy Packer who is recovering from knock she sustained last weekend against Saracens. Kayleigh Powell will be pulling the strings from 10, alongside Lagi Tuima at inside-centre. Clàudia Peña moves in to midfield at 13 from fullback, following a statement performance away at StoneX Stadium.
It’s an electric back three, with Welsh winger Lisa Neumann on one wing and Beth Wilcock on the other, fresh off the back of a brace and Player of the Match against Saracens. World Rugby’s Women’s 15s Player of the Year Ellie Kildunne returns to the side at fullback.
