Skipper Grace Scrivens’ fifty guided Sunrisers to victory over a depleted Diamonds side, without power-hitters Lauren-Winfield-Hill or Bess Heath. Despite facing 37 ‘dot’ balls during Diamonds’ power play, openers Katherine Fraser and Emma Marlow did well to post 47/1. Sterre Kalis played anchor with top-score. Beyond mid-way, Diamonds batters faced 90 ‘dot’ balls.
