Following Team GB’s first gold medals of the Games on Monday, there are 14 golds to be won on Tuesday.
Team GB will be back in action in the pool, but there’s also triathlon, gymnastics and shooting medals up for grabs.
Swimming
The men’s 4x200m freestyle relay headlines another big evening in the pool on Tuesday.
Team GB are the defending champions from Tokyo, with Thomas Dean, James Guy, Matthew Richards, Duncan Scott expected to join forces again to defend their crown.
The heats take place at 13:08 CET, with the final at 22:01.
Richards, alongside Jacob Whittle, will also be in men’s 100m freestyle action, with the heats starting at 11:15 and the semi-finals at 20:30.
Anna Hopkin goes in the women’s 100m freestyle, with the heats at 12:39 and the semi-finals at 21:25.
Men’s Triathlon
Team GB’s Alex Yee will be aiming to upgrade the silver medal he earned in Tokyo, as the men’s triathlon is set for tomorrow morning.
Yee, who also won a mixed relay gold in Tokyo, will be joined by Olympic debutant Sam Dickinson, who was a travelling reserve in Tokyo and has since won Commonwealth gold.
There is some uncertainty about whether the River Seine’s water quality is of an acceptable standard, but Paris 2024 organisers are confident the event will go ahead as scheduled and there are contingency days if needed.
Assuming the race does go ahead as planned, it will begin at 08:00 and should be wrapped up by 10:30.
Artistic Gymnastics: Women’s Artistic Team All-Around Final
Attention will then turn to the artistic gymnastics women’s team final at 17:15.
Team GB’s Ruby Evans, Georgia-Mae Fenton, Abi Martin, Becky Downie and Alice Kinsella qualified for the final in seventh place.
Kinsella, who was part of the squad which finished with a bronze medal in Tokyo, will also feature in the all-around final alongside Fenton, while Downie, who missed Tokyo due to the death of her brother, qualified for the uneven bars.
Downie said: “I think it’s going to be a really exciting day. The team final was a big goal for our team coming in here.”
Men’s Trap Shooting
Team GB’s Nathan Hales is well placed going into the second day of trap shooting, where medals will be won.
Through three of the five qualifying rounds, world silver medallist Hales has 73 points out of a possible 75, one point off the leaders.
Teammate Matthew Coward-Holley, bronze medallist from Tokyo, sits on 70 points.
The remaining two qualifying rounds take place at 9:00, with the top six qualifying for the final, which starts at 15:30.
