England U18 quartet join Harlequins

Harlequins have announced the signing of four England U18s into their development group as part of the senior squad ahead of the 2024/25 Allianz PWR season.

Tighthead prop Zara Green heralds from Lewes RFC, playing her school rugby at Cardinal Newman. Green graduates into Harlequins’ senior squad from the U18 Centre of Excellence, and has represented England at U18 level.

England U18 back-row Iley Bailey played her club rugby at Farnham RFC as well as Henley College. She became an integral part of Quins’ U18 Centre of Excellence side who were unbeaten during the 2023/24 season.

Another product of Harlequins Centre of Excellence, loosehead Ruby Winstanley played her school rugby at Farnborough Sixth, as well as representing Quins’ community club, Guildfordians RFC.

Centre Sarah Parry joins Quins from Worcester Warriors Women, where she moved from their Centre of Excellence into the senior squad last season. Parry scored on debut for Warriors last season in the Allianz Cup, aged just 17.

Harlequins Attack and Transition Coach Ross Chisholm said “We’re excited to welcome four incredibly talented athletes into our senior squad. It’s testament to the strength of our pathway, to have three forwards with huge potential coming in this year, alongside an exciting prospect like Sarah (Parry). We look forward to seeing them represent both Quins and England in the seasons to come.”
