The All Blacks Sevens and Black Ferns Sevens hit the road this weekend ahead of back to back tournaments in Vancouver and Los Angeles on the SVNS Series.
Both teams are aiming for improved performances later this month and are bolstered by returning players.
Andrew Knewstubb has been selected in the travelling squad, having been sidelined for almost two years with injury. The All Blacks Sevens also welcome back Joe Webber, Roderick Solo and Amankai Nicole from injury lay offs.
The Black Ferns Sevens welcome the return of the recently married Theresa Setefano (nee Fitzpatrick), for her first tournament of the season, while Shiray Kaka is expected to add some spark on her return.
The All Blacks Sevens will face Great Britain, Ireland and South Africa in pool play, while the Black Ferns Sevens come up against Brazil, Ireland and South Africa.
Teams travel to Canada this weekend.
