Harlequins have confirmed that back-row Lauren Brooks will move to Ealing Trailfinders at the conclusion of the 2022/23 Allianz Premier 15s season.

Brooks joined the Club ahead of the 2017/18 season from the Harlequins Development Programme and has made 42 appearances for Quins across five seasons. Most notably, she started in Harlequins victorious Allianz Premier 15s Final in 2021.

Speaking on her departure, Brooks said: “Over the past five seasons at Harlequins I’ve developed leaps and bounds both on and off the pitch. The Club has a fantastic set-up and I’ve been extremely lucky and privileged to have worn the Quins colours.”

“I have a lot of respect for the players, coaching staff and the wider team who have helped me build my skill-set and are always there to help. I’m excited to see how the squad grow over the coming seasons, as I know they will, however I’m very excited for a new challenge ahead with Ealing Trailfinders.”

Head Coach Amy Turner said “We wish Lauren all the best in her next chapter at Ealing and thank her for all she has done over her years in the Quarters. It has been a pleasure working with her this season, she was our standout performer in Big Game at Twickenham Stadium and has brought physicality to our back-row on both sides of the ball. Off the pitch she remains an integral part of our squad and we’re looking forward to seeing her run out one last time for Quins this weekend.”
