Barclays WSL Final Day Kick-Off Time Change

The kick off time for the final round of Barclays Women’s Super League fixtures, on Saturday 27 May, will be moved forward 30 minutes – with all matches kicking off at 2.30pm.

This is to ensure that the matches on the last day of the Barclays Women’s Super League season do not clash with the scheduling of the EFL Championship Play-Off Final, which is now due to kick-off at 4.45pm on Saturday 27 May.

FA Director of the Women’s Professional Game, Kelly Simmons said: “The title race in the Barclays Women’s Super League is going right down to the wire and we want to ensure we achieve the biggest possible audience we can – both inside and outside of our stadiums.

“By moving our fixtures forward at 2.30pm, we will have our own window of opportunity, with all six matches available spread across our broadcast partners, Sky Sports and the BBC, as well as The FA Player. Details of where to watch will be announced in due course.”
