Harlequins Women’s Head Coach Amy Turner has named her side to travel to Wasps on Saturday in the Allianz Premier 15s.
In the forwards, Sheree Cooper, Rosie Dobson and Chloe Edwards make up a new-look front row, whilst internationals Sarah Bonar and Rosie Galligan partner up again in the second row.
Katy Mew makes her return from an injury she sustained against Worcester in the first game of the season to start at blindside flanker.
Red Rose Lucy Packer starts at scrum half, alongside captain Emily Scott at fly half. Wallaroo Bella McKenzie shifts to inside centre alongside Lagi Tuima in what promises to be an electric midfield partnership.
New signing Hannah Sims is named amongst the Impact Players after joining the Club this week from Allianz Premier 15s rivals Bristol Bears.
Emily Chancellor is also set to make her eagerly anticipated Harlequins debut having linked up with the squad earlier this month. The Wallaroo back row is in line to play her first game since facing England in the Rugby World Cup Quarter Final in November.
Amy Turner said: “There have been a couple of new additions to the squad who we’re really excited to see in action against Wasps.
“We’re looking forward to getting back to Allianz Premier 15s action against Wasps on Saturday. We built some great momentum last year and we want to continue to build on that this weekend.”
