Wasps’ 2021/22 round 10 Allianz Premier 15s match against Loughborough Lightning has been postponed.
The decision to postpone the fixture, originally due to take place on Saturday 8 January has been taken by the Rugby Football Union after both Wasps and Loughborough Lightning reported a number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in their playing squads and staff groups.
Meanwhile, Harlequins’ round 10 meeting with Worcester Warriors has also been postponed.
The decision to postpone the fixture, originally due to take place on Sunday 9 January has been taken by the Rugby Football Union after Worcester reported a number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the playing squad and staff group.
The decisions follow the detailed medical protocols in place to ensure that the health and wellbeing of all players and support staff is protected.
The Disputes Committee will meet soon to determine next steps for both fixtures.
