More Signings
Ellena Perry has returned to her alma mater, Gloucester-Hartpury, where she is joined by experienced back-rower Erica Mills, whose army career has taken her to the West Country.
Perry becomes a rare Red Rose to move from a top-3 club, thus helping to even out the imbalances of the Tyrrells.
Anna Caplice, the Irish international, has joined Quins.
DMP have made two more interesting signings: Laura Delgado, the Spanish captain, and Teya Ashworth (Quins), who is studying at Durham University.
A pre-season with a difference
Glos-Pury played a pre-season friendly against Lille-Métropole, which they won 50-5. It was played at Drybrook RFC, home club of two local international players, Ceri Large and Mo Hunt.
Wasps travelled to the south of France in preparation for the third season of the Tyrrells. They rounded it off with a game against the French champions, Montpellier. This second Anglo-French club fixture in quick succession, was won by the hosts, to bring the tally of Anglo-French victories to 1-1.
Quins have a 3rd XV who will play five matches at Staines RFC between September and November.
