Four of the world’s best netball teams will go head-to-head in January as the Vitality Netball International Series, as part of the Netball Quad Series, returns to England.
The Vitality Roses, England Netball’s senior team, will be joined in Liverpool and then London by world champions Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
It will be the Vitality Roses’ last international series together before they battle for gold at the highly anticipated Netball World Cup in July 2019.
Since their success at the Commonwealth Games in April 2018, all eyes are on the Roses to see how they’ll perform against these world-class teams again.
Tickets have now been released for the exhilarating series.
Ama Agbeze, Captain of the Vitality Roses, said: “This is the last chance for us to compete in an international series as a team before the Netball World Cup in Liverpool. It’s a brilliant opportunity for us to cement combinations and test our performance against the other teams before we face them again in July.
“I anticipate that this Quad Series in particular will have a huge turnout due to the building excitement of the World Cup. We can’t wait to play in front of our fans on home soil again, it’s going to be a really exciting series!”
The first match of the series, which will see South Africa take on Australia, followed by England v New Zealand, will take place on Sunday 13 January at the Echo Arena in Liverpool.
The excitement will then move to the Copper Box Arena in London on Saturday 19 January as Australia face New Zealand and England play South Africa.
The final day of the series will feature South Africa v New Zealand and England v Australia at the Copper Box Arena on Sunday 20 January, giving Australia another Commonwealth Games final rematch opportunity – a dramatic end to an already exciting series.
Whilst hosting duties are usually shared with South Africa, every fixture will be held in England on this occasion.
Tickets can be purchased for the 2019 Quad Series via England Netball’s Box Office, powered by SecuTix; England Netball’s new ticketing and engagement partner.
