Harlequins Ladies Co-Head Coaches Karen Findlay and Gary Street have announced their squad to play Saracens at The Stoop in the Tyrrells Premier 15s on Saturday.
The back line remains unchanged from the one that lined up at Worcester last week while in the forwards Shaunagh Brown, selected in Simon Middleton’s England squad this week, returns to flanker with Chloe Edwards coming in at Tighthead, while Tove Viksten comes in at hooker for Leah Lyons who is on international duty with Ireland.
Four other Quins players who were selected for the Quilter Internationals are in the starting XV too: captain Rachael Burford, Abbie Brown, Vickii Cornborough and Leanne Riley while US international Kristine Sommer, who scored on her debut last week, starts again at flanker.
Harlequins come into their biggest match of the season so far on the back of two impressive victories against Firwood Waterloo and Worcester Valkyries and are now looking forward to taking on the league leaders at the home of Harlequins.
“These types of games are fantastic occasions for both our sides to showcase the best there is in women’s rugby,” said Findlay.
“It’s going to be a big physical game, and a tough one. The rivalry is tangible and it’s great that we will be at the Stoop with a home crowd behind the team.
“Let us hear that Quins roar, we will do our utmost to get the result that our supporters want.”
