Wasps FC Ladies will play at the Ricoh Arena for the first time on the 20th October as part of the Wasps Heritage Day.
This historic day sees the ladies playing their first double header with the men’s premiership side since the move to Coventry. Wasps are aiming to have the biggest audience at a women’s game, looking to beat the current record of 4,542 attendees achieved by Harlequins at the stoop last season. The double header of both of Wasps Premiership sides is part of the inaugural Wasps Heritage day. Designed to bring together everyone involved with Wasps from past and present players, lifelong supporters, families, friends and young rugby fans. The Heritage day will offer a fantastic day of rugby, the opportunity to meet players and catching up with old friends from even our Sudbury days while enjoying the excellent facilities the Ricoh Arena offers. In the exhibition hall the Wasps FC mini & youth section have their own dedicated area and during the afternoon will welcome the players onto the pitch and take part in half time activities during both games.
There will be a special Heritage Lounge area for guests wishing to purchase a Heritage Hospitality ticket. The package is open to all current and ex Wasps players, members, families and friends, and includes a category A ticket, Buffet lunch and cash bar for £50. Wasps FC members have access to a discounted match day ticket directly from the FC office or through your age group head coaches. There will also be a supporters coach leaving from Twyford Avenue at 12 noon returning at 10pm. Seats are limited and available for £5 per person with a ticket purchase.
