Women’s Rugby League Weekly Round up 2nd April

On Sunday Featherstone Rovers hosted Wakefield Trinity Ladies and the home side put on an impressive performance to win 84-0.

Featherstone’s Kayleigh Bulman, Hannah Bairstow and Holly Sandow scored a hat-trick of tries each, Sinead Peach scored twice and there was one try each for Katie Cooper-Birkenhead and Natalie Harrowell. Nat Gilmour was on target with ten goals.

Barrow were at home to Oulton Raidettes and the travelling side emerged with a 36-10 win.

Bradford Bulls Ladies travelled away to Castleford and it was Bradford who enjoyed a winning afternoon, 64-0.

Bradford’s Rhiannon Marshall an Savannah Andrea both scored three tries each with Jess Courtman and Lois Forsell scoring twice each. Further tries from; Charlotte Booth, Stacey White and Shona Hoyle capped the try scoring for the afternoon. Bradford’s Lois Forsell kicked three goals, Rhiannon Marshall kicked two and Kirsty Moroney was on target with one.

Wigan St Patricks hosted Leigh Miners Ladies and the home side worked hard for a 20-6 win.
