Match Preview – Bristol Ladies vs Aylesford Ladies – 27th Nov

  • +1

Premiership Rugby returns this weekend as Bristol Ladies travel to Twickenham Stoop for their away fixture against Aylesford Ladies.

Kick off is 5:30pm following the Harlequins fixture vs Bath on Sunday afternoon – the day after the Red Roses play their game against Canada at Twickenham.

The team sees a variety of changes, with Welsh internationals Carys Phillips and Caryl Thomas back in the front row, with Clara Nielson starting at 6. Kate Newton and Amelia Buckland Hurry both start on return from injury and University students Poppy Leitch and Liv Jones complete the pack.

Taz Bricknell retains the scrum half shirt, with our third Welsh international, Sian Moore starting at 10. Miell and Holland return to their centre partnership, with Belcher and Marston on the wing – Cat McNaney starts at full back.

The reverse fixture back in September saw Bristol put 42 points past the visitors at Cleve RFC when Aylesford Ladies were much of an unknown quantity. Even with a different starting line up, Bristol will be looking to secure another win over the London outfit to remain unbeaten in the Women’s Premiership.
