This was an important weekend in the Women’s Superleague as Chelsea’s win secured them Champions League football and wins for Bristol City and Yeovil Town see them promoted to WSL2 for the 2017 campaign.
Because of the odd number of teams in WSL1 this season Manchester City have finished their games a week early and despite being held to a draw by Birmingham City finish the season unbeaten and title winners.
