This Sunday Bristol Ladies travel away to 15/16 Women’s Premiership Champions, Richmond Women for the sixth round of the league.
Having narrowly secured victory over Lichfield Ladies last weekend, Bristol are looking to remain unbeaten this weekend to maintain their position at the top of the table. Richmond Women faced a lot of changes over the summer, and have only come away with one victory so far this season, so will be looking to cause an upset.
Bristol will field a team with a few changes and rotations this week, with second row Amelia Buckland Hurry being awarded the Captain’s armband for the fixture. Taz Bricknell makes her hotly anticipated first appearance of the season at nine, with Chantelle Miell moving into fly half.
Marlie Packer is back in the starting line up this week after making an impact off the bench last weekend, and Claire Molloy moves to Centre. SGS Filton College duo Vicky Foxwell and Rownita Marston make their 1st XV debut after impressing in their 2nd XV run outs, and sisters Jessie and Gracie Hood are on the bench.
The game kicks off a 2:30pm at Richmond Athletic Ground, TW9 2SF.
