On Sunday Wigan St Patricks hosted Thatto Heath St Helens and it was the visiting side who emerged with a 36-4 win.
Thatto’s Tara Stanley an Emily Rudge both scored two tries each. Sammi Simpson, Jodie Cunningham and Faye Gaskin all scored one each with Fay Gaskin also adding two goals to completed the win for Thatto.
Leigh Miners Rangers welcomed Brighouse Ladies and the home side carded an impressive 76-0 win.
Leigh centre Georgia Sutherland broke a club record during the match scoring seven tries. Further tries were scored by Dana Banks, Grace Morley, Megan Eastwood, Rachel Ogden, Chloe Jolley, Mairead Quinn and Laura Bent, Emily Rudge added ten conversions.
In a more closely fought contest Featherstone Rovers Ladies beat Bradford Bull Ladies by 24-20. (Hopefully more detail will be forthcoming.)
