John Griffiths names his England U17s Euro Squad

John Griffiths has named his England Women’s Under-17s squad for this summer’s European Championship finals.

The Young Lions have been drawn in Group A alongside host nation Iceland, Spain and holders Germany.

The finals will take place between 22 June and 4 July.

Twelve of Griffiths’s 18-player squad helped England progress from the elite qualifying round, where they bounced back from an opening-day defeat by Republic of Ireland to see off Hungary and Holland.

There are two U17s debutants in the squad, Chelsea’s Rachel Hardy and Liverpool’s Serena Fletcher.
