England Women’s U19 took on Italy today in a friendly match. Italy scored on 41′ but held the lead for just one minute before England equalised through Arsenal’s Chloe Kelly to earn the England U19s a respectable draw away from home.
This friendly is part of Mo Marley’s preparaton for the Euro qualifiers next spring, the draw for which will take place on Friday 13 November. England are among the top seeds alongside Spain, Switzerland, Germany, France and Finland.
The Elite Round qualifiers will take place in April 2016.
The Euro finals will be staged in Slovakia in July.
