A huge weekend of women’s football begins today with England’s U17s taking on Estonia in a UEFA qualifying match. The U17s will be full of confidence having beating Croatia 13-0 on Thursday.
This is also the final week of the WSL with the title race still to be decided, although very much in Chelsea Ladies own hands. All they have to do is beat WSL1 newcomers Sunderland. However, if they slip up then Manchester City Women will overtake them, but they will have to beat Notts County Ladies (photo above) in order to do that.
In the meantime, the WSL2 champions are also to be decided with the Belles in pole position on 39 points and Reading on 36. Reading have a game in hand and better goal difference, so the Belles will be eager to win their last games well – they take on Oxford United Women today while Reading are away to the Millwall Lionesses tomorrow.
The WPL have a round of Cup and Plate matches tomorrow.
All the weekend’s fixtures are below – scores will be updated as soon as possible. Good luck everyone!
