England Women will travel to Germany in November to play the European champions in an international friendly.
Mark Sampson’s side will travel to the Schauinsland-Reisen-Arena in Duisburg for the match, which will take place on Thursday 26 November (5pm KO GMT), the first time they will have faced each other since England beat Germany in the Women’s World Cup this summer and Germany will be sure to want to exact revenge after England beat them to take the bronze medal. Germany were many people’s favourites to win the World Cup and ended the campaign, in what was for them, a disappointing fourth place.
England’s Lionesses will then face Bosnia & Herzegovina at Bristol City’s Ashton Gate Stadium three days later on Sunday 29th November, in a UEFA Women’s EURO 2017 qualifyier and their first home match since the World Cup.
The Lionesses’ next match is in Tallinn where they kick off their EURO 2017 qualifying campaign against Estonia on Monday 21 September (5pm KO BST).
Tickets for the Bosnia match are on sale now priced £5 for adults and £2.50 for children. A family ticket (two adults and two children) is available at £10 and group booking discounts apply.
Tickets can be purchased via tickets.bristol-sport.co.uk or by calling 01179 630 600.
